Scottish Widows is a key part of Lloyds Banking Group and we put our customers at the heart of everything we do. That's why our Customer Service teams are so essential - they're the first point of contact, making sure that no question goes unanswered. Scottish Widows customers deserve the very best care, which is why we're now recruiting for a number of full-time and part-time Customer Service Advisers to join us.
Working as part of our team, you'll be tasked with answering a wide variety of telephone enquiries from our customers. This means you will be advising them on Life, Pensions and Investment products and services, and acting on their instructions. You will also ensure records are accurately maintained and fully up-to-date. What makes this role so unique is that you won't be selling any products - you'll purely be working to assist the customers with your in-depth knowledge of our products and processes.
To succeed in these roles, we will provide comprehensive training to help you develop a solid understanding of the products we offer. For full-time employees, this will involve a six-week training course, while part-time employees will need to be available to work full-time hours for up to four weeks of the training period, before moving onto their agreed hours. You don't need a background in banking or finance, as our training will provide you with everything you need. All you need is experience of working in a customer service environment and fantastic communication skills.
If you enjoy working as part of a team, with the potential to learn and develop your career, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Providing a competitive salary, rising to £17,910 - £20,895 (dependent on experience) when competent in the role, you will also receive private medical care (available from 1st January 2015). Additional benefits include an annual performance based bonus, attractive share schemes, flex cash (4% of salary) that you can spend on a range of benefits or receive directly into your monthly pay-packet and the chance to do a day's paid community work each year. This is a really enviable career-move, so contact us today to make the most of this opening. Once the positions are filled, we may close the vacancy early, so act now to make sure you don't miss out.
