Core Network Operation Specialist

For our client, a major telecommunication company with Scandinavian background and offices located in Törökbálint, we are seeking self-starter junior professionals with excellent English knowledge and customer service attitude who are looking for career and development opportunities in a high-tech, multinational working environment.

Job overview:

Responsible for operation and maintenance of voice service related Core Network of our international partners providing high-level customer support and technical assistance in 7/24/365 work shifts and/or on-call service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain availability of Network Elements in voice core domain
  • Investigation of network faults (HW/SW, configuration) and customer complaints.
  • Managing system and service related problems and escalating if necessary
  • Reporting and tracking of faults towards 3rd line operation or vendors.
  • Implementing core network expansions and configuration changes, performing work orders received from customers or 3rd parties
  • Monitoring of performance and taking action to avoid quality degradation
  • Supporting introduction of new tools and solutions.
  • Participating in projects, introducing new features, services, connecting new network elements. Validation of test reports provided by vendor.
  • Operation of related management systems (signalling and traffic monitoring)
  • Participate in testing of new SW releases, features

Professional requirements:

  • University /College degree in Telecommunications or computer engineering with deep Telco experience
  • Basic IP knowledge
  • SIP knowledge
  • Fluent English both written and verbal (Daily communication with partners and customers will be in English)
  • Experience in LINUX/UNIX system operations, in SW testing and handling trouble tickets
  • Relevant work experience (operation/configuration of SBC/MGC/MGW) and basic programming skills are considered as advantage
