PwC seeks to appoint an experienced individual to a market facing role of Director in the Oil & Gas industry. The role is based in Aberdeen, but includes UK wide and international travel. It provides an excellent opportunity to take a lead in developing the Oil & Gas business in Aberdeen.

• Successful track-record of winning new business in the Oil & Gas industry • Established network of senior contacts in the Aberdeen-based business community • Experience of management consulting and/or professional services delivery model • Track-record of taking ownership for relationships and projects • Is open-minded, agile with change and practical • Anticipates the needs of the Firm and client in the face of change • Negotiates and influences consistently with impact at senior levels in the client organisation • Is capable of presenting a balanced professional view in a powerful way • Flexes personal style and method of communication to suit different cultures, situations and client demands • Proactive at sharing and leveraging knowledge to create distinctive value for the client • Is happy to work with colleagues to sustain a "One Firm" relationship for the long term
About the role
PwC is one of the world's leading professional services firms. Our Consulting practice is focussed on working in partnership with clients to deliver real business transformation and making change stick.
As part of our rapidly growing Oil & Gas industry we are looking for a Director to lead our expansion into this sector. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a real difference and expand into new territories.
Successful candidates will be looking to benefit from an environment where high performance is recognised and fast-track career progression is encouraged. You would be working with a client base that extends into Board members of some of the world's leading Oil & Gas companies.
The ideal candidate would already be operating at the equivalent of a director level and interested in progressing their career to the next level with the opportunity of becoming a candidate for partnership.

• Opportunity for working from home? - limited
• Amount of time client based - typically 20-50%

• Degree qualified - ideally engineering based, but would consider other business or technology based degrees
• Successful track-record of winning new business (ideally in the Oil & Gas industry)
• Established network of senior contacts in the Aberdeen-based business community
• Experience of management consulting and/or professional services delivery model
• Track-record of taking ownership for relationships and projects
• Is open-minded, agile with change and practical
