Compliance Consultant
we are looking for colleagues


  • As a member of the Shared Services Organization (SSC), act as a liaison between SSC and the Locations, focusing on the following areas:
  • Evaluate the internal controls of business processes for the Business Unit’s operating locations and key processes through self-assessment methodology (COSO);
  • Advise and provide recommendations to location and executive management on improving the control environment, business processes and increase operational efficiencies;
  • Developing ideas for process improvements and contributing to department, business unit and company compliance performance;
  • Ensure that the locations meet compliance SOX and Non SOX objectives;
  • Transferring knowledge throughout the Business Unit through best practice sharing;
  • Provide internal consultancy to address compliance issues/opportunities;
  • Provide functional guidance and direction to less experienced audit professionals;
  • Provide compliance trainings as necessary to internal employees from various areas;
  • Travelling to company locations (with more frequent visits in the first year), many of which are manufacturing facilities
  • The above activities should be provided to all locations of the Business Unit (globally).

Essential Knowledge / Skills

  • English fluency is a must (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Experience in SOX requirements (Section 404);
  • Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to various business functions, like: financial analysis, account reconciliations, fixed asset, inventory, procurement and IT environment etc.
  • The candidate needs to effectively develop an understanding of businesses/functions being audited in order to fairly and objectively assess SOX FBP and IT internal controls;
  • The candidate must be able to assimilate and logically analyze information and make recommendations in relatively limited time frames
  • Self-confidence, self-independent,  proactivity and flexibility are required
  • Another European language is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel (international travel should be expected)
  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Discoverer is desirable
  • Clear criminal records are required. Request for certificate will be processed by the company

Basic / Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business related field
  • Professional Certification (CPA, MBA, CFE, ACCA etc.) is desirable
  • This position would require 5+ years of prior business experience
  • Candidates should have at least 2-3 year of financial and SOX audit or compliance work.
