Dundee City Council is the lead council for the development of the Scottish National Entitlement Card (NEC) Programme. The NEC Programme Office team work from Dundee City Council with the Scottish Government, all 32 local Councils as well as organisations such as Young Scot, the Registrar General and Transport Scotland.
The NEC is used for over thirty different services including the national travel concession scheme, Young Scot and other council services. There are now circa 2m customers using the card for one or several services.
We are looking for a well-organised and experienced support member of staff to assist in the implementation of our communications and marketing strategy working with key stakeholders and partners. This is a key component of National and Local Government's Digital Public Services Priorities.
Working 30 hours per week, you will be educated to HND level or equivalent in Communications or related subject or have relevant occupational experience as well as the ability to exhibit excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Experience of multi-agency working and project management support is essential. This is a national role involving some travel.
This is a temporary postion covering maternity leave until 14/08/2015.
