Job function

The function is part of the Global Business Management of the Global Accounts and acts as a shared service for Sales, Services and Transition&Transformation.


In this position, you have the following responsibilities:


I. Commercial Management

  • Serving as the single point for client and supplier on commercial matters for the Region Americas
  • Support of the central Contract Management group (GCM) for region specific contractual topics on request
  • Support a global Claim Mgt for incoming and outgoing claims from and against all parties (client and suppliers) including participation on claim meetings
  • Regional counterpart for all commercial aspects which are referring to existing services (Externally and internally); Revenue, volume, cost and profitability tracking and reporting; Central maintenance and distribution of accrual data
  • New Service Development – support, validation and approval of service proposals and CCNs; Administration of price lists
  • Service/PE re-design and re-pricing (internally or externally requested)


II. Financial Performance

  • Financial Planning: support annual budget planning (Order Entry, Revenue, Cost, Gross Profit) on LBU level within the region Americas
  • Support the preparation of monthly Financial Reviews
  • Support customer initiated Audits and Improvement Programs

For this position you have the following qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in business studies/economics is required
  • Master in Business Administration highly desirable
  • ITIL certification and PMP certification recommended
  • Legal background in contract law
  • Significant exposure in a challenging (major) project environment
  • The possession of proven negotiation skills, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the best ways to maximise the mutual benefits to be gained from the effective and commercial interpretation of contracts
  • Good customer facing skills as well as experience of being actively involved as a team member in complex project situations
  • Multi-disciplined so as to be able to understand the technical, commercial and financial requirements of the project
  • Sound personal skills e.g. confidence, coupled with an ability to persuade customer and suppliers alike, often under cost or time critical conditions and an ability to work under own initiative
  • Good knowledge of organization, contact person as well as processes and products in the T-Group
  • Fluency in English
  • German language skills would be of advantage
  • Intercultural Knowledge and international experience
  • Conflict management skills
  • Good process understanding
