PwC is strengthening our Financial Services risk & regulation (FSRR) practice as our clients continue to face significant shifts in the regulatory environment. These include new FCA & PRA structures; a focus on retail and wholesale conduct risk as well as greater supervision and more intensive and enforced remediation work.
Further afield, new EU regulations and global agreements enforced in UK are driving yet more reform of recovery plans, derivatives, capital & liquidity, regulatory reporting, remuneration and incentives.

Our Financial Services Risk and Regulation team is made up of over 50 partners and 800 professional staff and our numbers and capabilities are expanding every day.
Operational Reslience

Commercial Assurance
The volume scope and complexity of 3rd party relationships and contracts have continued to increase. Not managing these contracts appropriately, not only leads to an increase in administrative costs but also value leakages, inefficiencies, unsatisfied contractual obligations and reputational damage.
Commercial Assurance helps our clients manage risk and monetise opportunities within their complex 3rd party relationships. We achieve this by applying the rigour and discipline of Assurance through a commercial lens

Our area of focus is customer, partner and supplier relationships.
About the role
This role will be working within FSRR and will have exposure to very senior/ board level PwC staff and clients. You will help develop your own and the firm's profile in the market place within your area of expertise. You should have a proven track record of delivering complex engagements and have experience of developing new business in a professional services firm or the credibility and drive to do so. Management skills will also allow successful project management of a number of teams simultaneously and the coaching and development of those teams.

We are looking for individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Contract and commercial management
• Providing assurance over third party activity
• Internal controls with a specific focus on either outsourcing governance, supplie
• performance management and/or contract management
• Risk management with a specific focus on supply chain
• Assessing and improving sourcing, contract management and/or supplier performance management business processes
