Channel Development Manager

Have you ran your own business? Do you have a record of partnering a business to help it achieve ambitious growth targets?

We now have opportunities for Strategy focussed Channel Development Consultants to work with our Partner Channel across the UK and Ireland to drive forward their business growth in line with Sage UKI growth targets.

The role is accountable for translating the Sage business plan and strategic initiatives into the right number of proactive regional channel partners enabling them to deliver Sage required revenue and customer acquisition targets. Essentially, the role supports Managing Directors and partner principles to develop and execute and exceed their own business plans establishing a strong sales pipeline in each UKI region.

Skills and experience
You will have strong commercial acumen and previously owned your own business or being a business manager responsible and accountable for key business decision making and strategic business development, ideally in a software, hardware or services industry. A proven track record of creating regional business plans, implementing and execution of strong marketing and customer, growth marketing via channel partners is desirable.

These roles are home-based and you will be required to undertake frequent travel within your region

Collaborating with our channel Managing Directors and Dealer Principles as well as key stakeholders across the business will be essential in this role therefore excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation are essential.
