Capital Forecasting Manager - Swindon, City, SN3 1TA


We need:

•A Capital Forecasting Manager in our head offices in Swindon.
•From £48,000-£55,000 a year plus a car allowance on a permanent contract.

The financial services industry is putting a lot of focus on stress testing capabilities as a result of the Bank of England's new framework proposals. This exciting role is part of a newly formed team to support our response, this role is responsible for the production of group-wide capital forecasts.
Who we're looking for

You'll need to:

•have a relevant professional qualification, including degree (numerical, accounting or business)
•be a good leader and a confident and effective communicator
•have experience of managing and improving group-wide forecasting processes
•have strong analytical and data insight skills to provide appropriate challenge and support to the forecast results
It would be preferable if you:
•have 3-5 years' experience in retail banking or building society section in a numerical/analytical role (or equivalent if external)
•have experience in capital and / or liquidity regulatory rules
What you'll be doing

You will gain an in-depth knowledge of the Capital Forecasting process, in order to both maintain and develop capability through working closely with our business partners. You will be organised and responsible and will be able to co-ordinate the delivery of capital projections and support the Senior Manager for Forecasting.
