TJX Europe's Buying Operations teams are a vital part of our Buying Function, providing administrative support to a range of Merchants (Buying Directors, Buying Managers and Buyers). We have an amazing opportunity to become a Buying Administration Team Leader, where your responsibilities will include:
• Managing and developing a team of Buying Administrators to provide a high quality service to the Buyers and Buying Managers;
• Prioritising the team's workloads and shifts based on the requirements of the individual Buyers , Buying Managers and upcoming calendar events;
• Communicating Company initiatives to the team and ensuring successful execution while maintaining high quality standards amongst the Buying Administrators;
• Establishing processes or procedures to streamline activities and comply with guidelines/legislation;
• Resolving complex operational issues escalated by Administrators and Merchants;
• Participating in ongoing company initiatives, projects and systems enhancements;

Skills and experience:
• It all starts with you - this role requires focus and determination to deliver results quickly. If you're a self-starter and a quick learner you'll love the challenges put in front of your in this role;
• You may be managing up to 12 people, so you'll need prior experience of managing teams. This could be a range of environments, including in-store;
• There will be a lot of priorities with conflicting deadlines, so not only will you need to be well organised and flexible, you'll need to know how to get the best out of your team to drive performance;
• You'll need to be highly diligent when it comes to administration with strong systems skills and excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
• You'll also need to be confident in dealing with lots of people from different parts of the business with knack of remaining professional, even under pressure but not being afraid to challenge in the right way when things need to get done.
