Business Support Representative (Pricing) - German Speaking

Szeged

BP is establishing a new Business Service Centre (“BSC”) location in Szeged which provides Finance, Customer Service and Operational Procurement services to BP’s Downstream businesses in Europe. The BSC provides the opportunity to combine activities dispersed across different locations, and support the standardization and simplification of processes. The new BSC site is starting operations in 2017, along with the Budapest site which was opened in 2009 and currently has 1400 employees. We are looking for experienced professionals to contribute to our success.

IF YOU JOIN OUR BUSINESS SUPPORT (PRICING) TEAM, YOU MAY HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Control and validate price data
  • Maintain all prices, discounts, rebates, investments, promotions
  • Identify and implement improvements to data governance processes to reduce the number of errors occurring and minimise rework
  • Analyse the root cause of errors
  • Create, document, review and update procedures where required
  • Continuously review the reporting process and tools, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend changes and support implementation
  • Apply and promote within the team the appropriate tools and processes for planning, risk management, and scheduling

IN A BUSINESS SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE ROLE WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent German and intermediate English knowledge
  • High level of IT proficiency
  • Customer oriented approach
  • Proven experience in problem solving
  • Experience in, and exposure to, training, facilitation and coaching
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self motivated  and able to see activities through to completion
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
