Business Service Monitoring Technical Specialist - London
This is a vacancy in a high performing and motivated team in Lloyds Banking IT Systems Management Services Area of Enterprise Monitoring & Alerting. This role will involve the candidate to be highly technical and experienced in the use of HP and IBM systems management toolsets to deliver Availability Monitoring of IT infrastructure components, Business Performance Monitoring for Key Business Applications and the automation & enrichment of manual tasks for the event alerting into our 24X7 Operations Team.
The individual will be required to:
* Lead and Deliver real-time operational and real user monitoring and automation solutions for both Service Delivery, Infrastructure and Business projects.
* Identify service improvements by engaging in the continuous improvement of existing solutions and processes.
* Automate manual tasks and corrective actions for the benefit of both Service Delivery, Infrastructure and Business IT areas.
* Lead, Plan and deliver new systems management technologies and initiatives
. Co-ordinate the activities of others in the team to deliver shared goals.
. Support the execution of strategy and direction and deliver the 1-3 year plans to achieve that strategy.
. Provide out of hours support for systems and infrastructure
Specific skills / knowledge required
This role can be based in either Halifax or London.
