J & Co Management Limited is a SME in the Business Cleaning Service sector offering Contract Cleaning as our main core service. Our current client base includes Restaurants, Pubs, offices and Schools mainly within the South East of England. We employ approximately 60 part time cleaning staff averaging about two hours per day and we operate from a base in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for a talented sales individual to take on a long term career move and join our company to implement our strategic growth and expansion goals. We are looking for a flexible, driven, sales professional, with experience in contractual sales to thrive in our small but yet exciting young Commercial Cleaning Company. This is a newly formed position within our company, and you would be responsible for our sales division and brining on board new business. Thus you would report to, but yet partner with the Director and the plan is to develop a sales team/department over time. The Director of J & Co Management was responsible for bringing on board new business but due to servicing exiting clients and running the day to day side of the business he has little or no time to focus on sales, thus we have decided to form this new position within our company. Therefore we are offering an excellent career opportunity with a clear path to post Sales Manager and possible Sales Director Level or shares within the business for right candidate.
As a Business Development Manager (field Sales) you will be given a territory in which to develop new business. The role will entail the identification of new clients from prospect sourcing and generation, right through to successfully wining the contract and roll out. The Business Development Manager will be at the front line of the company's growth, and will be targeted on successfully growing new business in the medium to large business sector.
The ideal candidate should be from the service led sector (i.e. cleaning, facilities management, security, etc.) and should have a track record of winning contracts. A proven track record of revenue generation is essential. The ideal candidate will be looking for a company to commit to, and develop within over a long period of time.
Specific duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Self-generate new business opportunities& achieve monthly targets
- Selling B2B across all business sectors
- Customer contact management, via an online based program
- Prepare Bids, PQQs, proposal writing and sales presentations
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have good IT Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Reporting straight to Director
- £25-30k starting basic salary (depending on experience)
- OTE is £52K uncapped
- Laptop & Phone
