Business Development Leader

Major multinational communication and printing company is seeking for a

Business Development Leader

colleague in Europe


The objective of this post is to initiate, manage and execute business development projects, and exploit sales and customer development opportunities which are consistent with, and support the strategic focus. He/She will participate in, and will be actively involved with, the company European Market Segment Team. 


Main tasks include:

  • Focus on business growth and development through both organic and/or customer acquisition activity. Identifies and develops strategies to enhance business position and success both in terms of existing customers and additional (i.e. prospect and pipeline) opportunities for our business;
  • Responsible for delivering on sales account targets – Sales and Value Added Revenue – as established, and as amended as appropriate, by Europe management;
  • Maintains and strengthens company client relationships by exceeding their expectations and by proactively responding to their needs with a high degree of professionalism and a client-focused approach;
  • Partners with the company Sales and Marketing in establishing the strategic positioning, value propositions and direction for the continued development of the our business in Europe;
  • Initiates and manages execution of overall strategic sales development plans for assigned projects and targeted customer accounts;
  • Obtains and analyses customer data, and determines the required company competencies to ensure overall business delivery of customer needs which also meet business development requirements of the Company;
  • Administers, models and leads ‘Business Culture Leadership’ in order to achieve business results;
  • Seeks and recommends new market and product opportunities within our business. Identifies new and incremental sales opportunities utilising the cross-platform capabilities.
  • Contributes to our Sales strategy development: prepares market analysis, prepares sales forecasts, monitors Competitors’ activities


Qualifications and key attributes

  • University degree
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Additional language skills are welcome
  • Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience
  • Sales experience in packaging industry is required
  • Knowledge of printing and packaging manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of negotiations and presentations
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Results orientation with success history
  • Availability and willingness to travel required
  • Driving licence - B category
