As a member of the operations finance team you will play a key role in delivering business plans, driving business improvement and assisting the leadership team in making key business decisions.
Reporting and analysing daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics
Working in partnership with the operations management team to develop challenging short, medium and long term business plans
Analysing large datasets and developing insights into business performance and variance analysis
Targeting business improvements as well as measuring and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives
Developing robust reconciliation and validation processes to support high levels of accuracy in terms of forecasting and outputs
Essential Experience - you will need these skills or experience to be successful:
Extensive use of Microsoft Excel including use of advanced formulas
Demonstrable experience with analytical skills in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability to build and manage models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
Demonstrable experience using analytics to influence key business stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills; including written and oral communication skills
Desirable Experience - any of these skills or experience will make you stand out from the crowd:
SQL in either Oracle and MySQL
Microsoft Visual Basic for applications (VBA)
Six Sigma, lean or other process improvement methodologies
Labour management or labour planning
Month end accounting and reconciliation
