Business Analyst (BA) MANAGER

Position Overview & Responsibilities:The MFG Business Analyst (BA) Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the department's business process and technology solutions, while ensuring operational alignment with key stakeholders.  In addition, the candidate should possess strong competencies in leadership, communication, team development, planning and organizing, adaptability, innovation, driving for results, change management and negotiation.The BA Manager will lead a team of BAs and BQAswho are responsible for managing and executing process and systems projects including heavy interaction across Manufacturing, and global IT.

Core Job Responsibilities

    • Develop strong relationships with business owners

    • Foster professional development of the Business Analyst team.

    • Collaborate with the Manufacturing IT team to prioritize continuous improvement and support projects.

    • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement across the BA organization.

    • Provide strategic direction & functional expertise on operational processes.

    • Delivery of high quality solutions that support business goals.

    • Can visualize future opportunities for the organization, sell those ideas and execute on them.

    • Initiative to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment and not afraid of doing “hands on” work occasionally.

    • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions on the best solution.

    • Facilitate design and delivery of solutions with conflicting priorities between roadmaps, processes and geography.

Position Requirements:  5-8 years of experience with Business Process analysis or similar.  Leadership experience preferred.  BS or BBA degree required, preferably in Management Information Systems or Business.

Experience in the following areas is a plus:

    • Played a key leadership role in delivering process and systems solutions

    • Managed multiple large/cross-functional projects

    • Effectively influenced without authority

    • Facilitated resolution of opposing ideas or objectives

    • Effectively communicated (written and verbal) across multiple geographies and cultures

    • Successfully managed vendors, suppliers, or partners to the company's benefit

    • Seen as a strong role model with the proven ability to mentor and develop people

    • Able to successfully manage a group of 5-10 people in a rapidly changing global environment

    • Experience hiring, developing, training, and retention of staff

    • Experience working with international sites is desirable
