Brand Manager

For the Hungarian organisation we are looking for a

Brand Manager

within the Consumer Health Division for 1-year definite period

Main responsibilities:

  • Set long-term brand strategies, ensure appropriate activation with consumers and HCP, responsible for achieving short and long-term financial brand commitments
  • Designs the local brand strategy in line with the global brand and the overall divisional strategy in alignment with the superior
  • Manages brand P&L in order to deliver against the financial commitments of the brand (budget) and to detect potential opportunities of improving brand profitability
  • Analyses market environment, consumer profile, competition, and own company capabilities in order to find ways and opportunities to strengthen the brand’s equity and market position
  • Creates with the support of creative and potentially BTL agencies as well as Trade Marketing effective and efficient communication for the brand (ATL & BTL)
  • Establishes with support of the media agency the annual brand media strategy in line with the communication objective(s) of the brand and executes it with the support of the Media Champion throughout the year based on the annual media plan and budget
  • Continuously measures brand performance, tracking results of different activities (DTC) in sell-out and sell-in (volume, value market share) in order to reapply or adjust specific brand-related activities
  • Provides monthly, quarterly and yearly financial forecasts (volume, price and P&I) based on brand expectations within market and company context, feeding into monthly supply process as well as financial processes such as budget, rolling forecast and LE and impacting business KPI such Gross Margin, Brand Margin, FCA and Bias
  • Defines and executes brand innovation strategy by selecting NPD for local roll-out, by leading integrated launch preparations with relevant stakeholders and by executing and tracking launches based on predefined activity plan


  • College/university degree, preferably in business administration or economics with focus on marketing
  • 6 – 8 years’ experience in brand marketing at a multinational company is a must. Preferably in FMCG and/or healthcare sector.
  • Confidence in all consumer marketing areas and media planning
  • Good leadership skills
  • Strong relationship and communication skills

  • Flexibility and integrity
  • Fluent English
