Brand Manager - Essex, Loughton, IG10 3TH

We also operate Clintons UK, the leading specialist retailer of Greeting Cards with over 400 shops across the UK. We offer a diverse and exciting array of unique gift products tailored to uniquely meet the needs of our customers across our portfolio of Brands.

We are very excited to announce that we will be opening new stores Branded, JOLIE PAPIER, in the UK in April. These new stores will set the bar for the Best Card and Stationery shops in the premium market segment. The new stores will be located in the Trafford Shopping Centre, Manchester and Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new brand to the UK market. We are seeking a Brand Manager to oversee the operation of both locations. You must have multisite experience and be a seasoned retailer, who can be an ambassador for customer service, driver of operational standards, and have a desire to work with unique and beautiful products.
Role responsibilities:
• To drive the sales and profitability of the store obtaining outstanding results
• To set an example and deliver exceptional customer service with in the store
• To promote high visual merchandising standards ensuring that store housekeeping standards are continually achieved
• To motivate and drive the team in achieving and exceeding agreed objectives
• To work with the District Manager and HR in dealing with people issues effectively and in a timely manner
• To support the recruitment for Store Managers and team members establishing a high performing team ensuring they are continually developed
• To be aware of competitor activity and take action where relevant to ensure maximum footfall and profitability in the store's in your patch
• To work with the District Manager to develop a strategic plan on a quarterly basis to ensure objectives and business goals are met
• To work with the Loss Prevention team to develop, and implement loss prevention control to prevent internal/external theft and system errors
• To plan and conduct regular 121s, reviews and appraisals with the team in accordance with the performance management policy and procedures
• To respond appropriately and timely to all customer questions and complaints, asking for help when needed
• To take pride in living Jolie Papier values and instilling them in the team driving a high standard of customer service
• To train and development direct reports to ensure that brand standards, audits and KPIs are delivered to Company standards
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
