Branch Manager
Responsible to: Brand Support Manager
Responsible for: Store team
To effectively manage the store to ensure excellent customer service, store standards, store operating procedures and driving sales and footfall.

•To implement and manage an effective and efficient store rota system.
•To provide expert knowledge on wines to customers and members of the team,
•Responsible for the recruitment, selection and training of all store staff, following the company policies and procedures in relation to this.
•To motivate, coach and develop your team to allow them to deliver to their full potential to the benefit of the store.
•Delivering the budgeted sales targets.
•Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
•Understand the local community and what the local people want from their local store.
•Ensure good availability of products through effective stock control, working closely with head office to ensure your product and category mix is optimal.
•Deliver all promotional activity with impact, ensuring correct positioning and spacing to these lines.
•Ensure the store is maintained to planogram and is merchandised effectively.
•Ensure exceptional store standards at all times and that the stock room and any back office areas/ staff facilities are well maintained, clean and tidy.
•Control shrinkage and waste through appropriate security measures and stock management.
•Be appointed as the stores main 'Designated Premises Supervisor', to ensure that age related products are sold legally and responsibility by all staff within the store.
•Ensure the health and safety of yourself, your team and customers through complying with all company policies and pro-actively identifying any risks and taking steps to address it.
•Implement and comply with all necessary company policies and procedures.
•Conduct regular store meetings to ensure the team are fully informed of all store and company information.
•Have in place effective cash management procedures to ensure secure cash handling and accurate reconciliation of monies.
•To comply with all company policies and procedures
•To comply with the Anti-Bribery Policy
•Any other duties as appropriate.

Job Specification:
• Minimum 4 years of retail experience, with some supervisory experience. More extensive retail experience will be welcomed.
•Strong leadership and motivation skills.
•Ability to effectively teach/develop others to improve performance.
•Good merchandising skills and a flair for conceiving and implementing creative merchandising themes.
•Attention to detail.
•Ability to implement plans and procedures.
•Ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
•The ability to provide and role model excellent customer service skills.
•An upbeat demeanour.
•Can provide solutions to problems.
•Community focused and is an ambassador for promoting Bargain Booze in the local community
