AP Specialist

Our client is a world leader in welding, cutting and also an international supplier of products, know-how and services. The purpose of the SSC is to provide services to business units in Europe to agree deliverables set out in the service level agreements.

The operation of the Accounts Payable Team is one of the key functions of the Budapest SSC.

Feladatok:

- Checking and matching invoice to purchase order
- Booking the invoices to ledger
- Supplier statement reconciliations and correct errors
- Payment runs: automatic and manual
- Ledger reconciliation
- Bank reconciliations payments accounts and report on
- Manage approval of invoices from lodgement on the system to payment
- Control the physical flow of an invoice in the approval process
- Filling of all invoices so that they can be easily retrieved
- Process master file amendments according to instructions
- Maintenance of standing data in the bank payments system
- Co-operate with queries from third parties
- To understand and follow all the processes in the AP manual
- To inform senior management of any irregularities or concerns
- To be liaison between the served units, the SSC and the suppliers

Elvárások:

- University or college degree in Economics or Finance
- Financial background, ideally in AP/Accounting
- Fluent English is a must, at least strong intermediate knowledge of another European language is highly desirable
- Good attention to detail
- Tolerance of monotony
