Analytics Manager (Marketing ) - Shropshire, Telford, TF1 1
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join our head office based in Telford, Shropshire. The main purpose of this role is to manage and develop PDSA's marketing analytics capability in order to provide a full range of supporter and data insight with the aim of improving income generation. Within this key role your main responsibilities will include developing the marketing analytics strategy focussing on new and innovative analytical solutions, develop and extend the technical capability of the marketing analytics team and identify new ways of working that will improve the quality, accuracy and capacity of the analytics function in order to deliver business insight. Taking line management responsibility for a team of Analysts you will also be expected to deal with workflow and capacity planning, provide technical training and coaching as required and build the organisations capability for advanced predictive modelling, statistical analysis and supporter segmentation.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working within a Marketing / Data Analyst role, will be skilled in the critical analysis of results to deadlines and will have proven experience of managing a team of Analysts. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (Marketing, Analytics, Business Studies, Maths or Statistics) and you will be highly numerate with knowledge of analytical programming languages such as SASS / SPSS, VBA or SQL whilst being able to use a range of data modelling techniques such as CHAID and Regression. It is essential that you are an excellent communicator who has the ability to influence and persuade senior management and you must be familiar with direct marketing theory and practice, preferably within the charity sector.
