Our client

Our client provides Financial and Human Resource Management services to some of the world's largest Non-Governmental Organizations. We are currently looking for candidates for anAdministrative Assistant position.

Tasks

- Provide administrative support to Audit staff members based in Budapest, Dakar and Johannesburg
- Communicate with members of finance, grants, legal, office management and other central departments, as well as finance and other staff of other entities, as needed
- Provide assistance in the organization of network finance events (e.g. Global Finance retreat, Global Finance Conference)
- Organize retreat for Internal Audit Staff (bids, contracting, logistics), and other events such as training organized by the department
- Provide support in making travel arrangements for audit staff based in Budapest related to their projects
- Make hotel bookings for visiting audit staff and guests visiting auditor colleagues
- Deal with general departmental procurement
- Process payment requests, administer payment processes related to departmental expenses (connected to Budapest based audit staff) and external audit engagements, administer corporate card transactions and cash advances related to Budapest based staff
- Make arrangements for the monthly video staff meetings for the department and other meetings, participate meetings and internal training, as needed
- Maintain and update working files and databases as necessary (audit database, external audit payment monitoring, etc.)
- Coordinate with and assist internal auditor colleagues on different issues to support their work (e.g. visa and other arrangements to facilitate their work)

Requirements

- At least two years experience in similar positions
- College or university education
- Fluency in English
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in multi-cultural environments
- Computer literacy
- Orientation on detail
- Common sense, proactivity, flexibility and responsibility

Advantageous

- General interest in financial matters
