Acquisition & Relationship Manager


The aim of the role is successful management of corporate banking client relationships within the designated market area. The focus of this corporate banking position is middle market banking prospects and clients. The Relationship Manager must be excellent at selling, negotiating, consulting and reporting.

- Full cross-selling of the bank's products to new and existing clients, performing these duties as a trusted financial advisor to targeted prospective clients and any existing clients
- To manage and enhance the existing commercial portfolio and solicit acceptable new relationships in order to meet the pre-set financial non-financial objectives
- To manage the existing loan portfolio to ensure establishment of appropriate account plans, recommend credit facilities in line with bank credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risks to an acceptable levels
- To develop and maintain strong working relations with all existing clients at key levels to optimize the utilization of approved facilities
- Implement and maintain complete control aspects i.e. financial analysis of statements of accounts, documentation, periodical client visits call reports


- University or College degree preferably in Finance and Accounting or in Economics
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a B2B sales position from Banking /Financial Services/Treasury fields
- Expertise in commercial banking sales techniques
- High-level negotiation skills
- Fluent English and fluent Hungarian are must
- Able to communicate clearly with a variety of people at all levels
- Committed to the needs of the customer
- At home in a fast-moving, pressurized environment
- Good skills in the assessment of credit risk, spread and analyse the financial statements
- Good understanding of financial accounting
- Excellent communicator, teamplayer, result oriented
- Hunter sales attitude
- Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, punctuality, and attitude
- Understanding mathematical and other numerical information
