On behalf of our prestigious client we are looking for you if you are an enthusiastic candidate with accounting background and leadership skills, who would like to face new challenges at a well-organized multinational company.

Our client is a major and fast expanding global manufacturer company, operating all over the world ; employs 200 people who provide business support in customer service, supply chain, finance and IT field.

The Accounts Payable Team Lead will be responsible for the daily management of the Accounts Payable Department in a fast paced environment. This will include, but will not be limited to monitoring the department's processes, coordinating daily and month end activities, checking payment proposals, handling escalation issues, formalizing policies, implementing lean initiatives while ensuring SOX compliance. This is all in liaison with the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities as an Accounts Payable Team Leader:
- Monitoring and managing a team of 8-10 accountants and interns
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager
- Take part and coordinate the migration of new processes
- Ensure processing and booking of AP invoices and Employee expenses
- Prepare reports and make action plans for solving queries, improving processes, standardizing tasks
- Identify system and process improvements, implement productivity and efficiency initiatives
- Execute and control weekly supplier and employee payment processes; monthly intercompany nettings and payments
- Coordinate and resolve issues arising from Purchase to Pay systems and processes
- Keep contact with stakeholders (weekly conference calls)
- Supporting AP service delivery against agreed SLAs, deliver KPIs and monthly busines review meetings
- Review reports and work with in-territory points of contact to resolve
- Follow-up reconciliation of the relevant AP subledger accounts
- Ensure that the department complies with all internal control procedures
- Manage, measure, and report team and individual performance against internal / external benchmarks

- Degree in accounting/finance
- Work experience as a team lead in accounts payable
- AND minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable processes
- Understanding of the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay cycle and best practices
- Fluent Business English knowledge
- Confident ERP knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage, motivate and develop a team
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Proactive, problem solving mindset
- Positive mindset
- Experienced in SSC environment
