As an Associate you will be located within and work as an integral part of the Client Relationship Management ("CRM") team within CCS Accounting. You will support the team through delivering project, administrative, finance and research services. You will act as a key communication point between members of staff and partners on the UK and overseas teams and, on occasions, with the client directly. You will be given the necessary coaching and training to develop your skills to enable you to fully meet the demands and needs of the role in addition to the pursuit of external qualifications PRINCE2 and AAT (Accounting Technician).
CRM involves coordinating the preparation of annual accounts (Statutory Financial Statements) and Corporate Income Tax ("CIT") returns, by local PwC teams, providing the client with a global joined up solution. The CRM team plans, monitors and controls the Statutory Financial Statements ("SFS") and CIT process.
About the role
The Associate role includes:
• Coordination / project management • Communicating with local PwC teams who prepare the SFS and CIT in-country • Monitoring work in progress to ensure statutory and team deadlines are adhered to
• Having a key role in client calls / meetings
• Monitoring assignment project plans, timetables, budgets and action lists. Take actions to ensure deadlines are met and suggest solutions to issues encountered
• Trouble shooting / fire fighting
• Running and manipulating reports from IGCS (this is the CRM tool used to monitor the local PwC teams compliance and progress with the preparation of the SFS and CIT returns)
• Undertaking key finance procedures relating to assignment/project time, expenses, costs and billings
• Undertaking certain procedures relating to the administration of DMS (Document Management System)
• Assisting your team to comply with internal risk management policies
• Be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject
