Our partner  is looking for candidates for the following position


1st Line Service Desk Agent


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • To provide 1st line technical support to external candidates via phone and email
  • Make effective use of procedural, informational, and technical documentation
  • To be proactive when dealing with user issues
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve their hardware or software incidents
  • Ensure that all customer contacts are handled in a timely and effective manner within the SLA

Skills and attributes required:

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in English + at least one more foreign language
  • Excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and peripherals - such as desktop and network printers/copiers.
  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint  
  • Good understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in team
  • Ability to effectively gauge urgency of incident
  • Ability to apply creativity to resolving issues
  • Willing to work in shifts
